MEET CHRIS GIRARD

Chris Girard has spent his whole life in Bay City, raising his family, building his career, and serving the community he calls home. He and his wife, Molly, have been married for more than 26 years. Together they have fostered more than 47 children and adopted five daughters.

Chris began his career as a member of Teamsters Local 486 before joining Do-All Inc., the family business his grandparents helped start. He spent 20 years there, including 14 as CEO, helping people with disabilities live and work more independently.

Chris went on to serve as a Bay City Commissioner and now serves as mayor. He's running for State Representative because Bay County needs someone who knows how to get things done.

WHAT I’LL FIGHT FOR IN LANSING

  • INFRASTRUCTURE & ROADS

Fix the roads and bridges our families and businesses rely on, strengthen water systems, and keep important infrastructure projects moving.

  • AFFORDABILITY & JOBS

Support local businesses, stand with workers, lower costs for families, and create good-paying jobs people can build a future on.

  • PUBLIC SAFETY

Support first responders, strengthen community policing, and make sure local departments have the tools and resources they need to keep neighborhoods safe.

  • MENTAL HEALTH & FAMILY SERVICES

Expand access to behavioral health care, support families in crisis, and make sure people can get help close to home without a waitlist.

  • SMALL BUSINESS & LOCAL GROWTH

Support Bay County’s small businesses, keep more of our dollars here at home, and strengthen the communities they serve.

  • SKILLED TRADES & CAREER TRAINING

Connect Bay County workers with skilled trades training and good-paying careers so they can build a future right here at home.
